TUITION & POLICIES

TUITITION:  Our monthly based tuition is $38.00.  Examples: Hip Hop, Gymnastics, Tap & Ballet combination class.  An additional class charge would be $20.00.  There are discounts for families with more than one dancer.  Competition dancers have various fees depending on the age group as each level must take additional classes for their team. This is based on the August through June dance season.  We offer two payment plan options:  Monthly Payment plan – due the first of each month.  The Semester Payment plan payments are due the first of each semester.  Payment in full is required, regardless of class attendance.  There will be a $15.oo late payment charge if payment is processed by the 1oth of the month.  Refunds are not given for classes missed or unattended. Consistent delinquent payments on accounts over sixty days may result in the suspension of that student’s participation in class. No student will participate in the dance concert until all fees, late fees, and costumes are recieved  and cleared.  If needed, please call the office to set up an alternate payment plan.  We do not want to deny any student the opportunity to dance if a viable solution is available.

FEES:   A $20.00 registration fee is charged to each dance student at the beginning of each term.  This fee is for the time and efforts it takes to process the student into the studio system.  A $25.00 concert fee is charged to each dancer in May of each year.  This fee is to help defray costs of the show: auditorium rentals, security, scenry, programs etc.   In this fee you will also recieve four free tickets to the concert.

COSTUME FEES: A costume fee is charged for each costume for our dance concert which is held in June.  Costume deposits are to be paid in October and November with the remaining balance due in January.  Each child will recieve a pair of pink tights with their ballet costume.  If your child withdraws from classes after costumes are ordered the costume deposit and the costume are forfeited.   No refunds, credits or exchanges on costumes.

CLASS WITHDRAWAL: No problem!  Our staff understands that everyone has likes and dislikes and dance may not be for everyone.  If your dancers chooses not to return, we ask that you call and let the reception staff know so we may pass the information along to our faculty.  We will miss you and hope that you may someday return.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations due to inclement weather will be announced on the studio answering machine and listed on the web site.   BDT will follow the Mercer county inclement weather schedule and RDT will follow the Tazewell county schedule. Our studio policy includes three built in snow days.  If more snow days are missed classes will be reschedule at a later time at no extra charge.
